HOW DROPS WORK

1. own a protocol

> RAGS utilizes tier-based membership NFTs known as the “Trinity Protocols” in order to determine what drops holders have access to.

> Themed after insects and the Y3K aesthetic, they act as a first class ticket to all things Rags, while the peasants cry in their Gildan tees. These NFTs are perpetual and come in three different tier levels (N.I.D.U.S, M.A.N.T.I.S, and B.U.G), each with their own unique perks. See above for full description / minting.

> The higher the tier, the more exclusive drops holders have access to.

2. Purchase a sealed byte

> Drops will be sold in the form of “Sealed Bytes”, having each physical garment or accessory linked to a unique Byte.

> Once purchased they will be minted to your Ethereum wallet. There will be roughly a week after the drop closes to redeem your Sealed Byte, solidifying your order for the physical and Unsealing your token.

> You may choose to sell your byte on secondary to non protocol holders, because that's the only way they can get them.

3. redeem and unseal

> When redeemed your Sealed Byte will split into 2 parts; the Unsealed Byte itself and the Soulbound Garment NFT.

> The Byte will be sent to your wallet immediately while the Soulbound Garment NFT will be what is locked on your garment’s chip.

> Simply stated, the garment you receive will be linked directly to a Rags Certified NFT, allowing you access to any and all member benefits. While the Byte acts as reward points to spend as you wish in the Ecosystem.
